The race follows the same idea as the ATP race that allows the Top 8 players to qualify for the O2 Finals at the end of the year by collecting points throughout the year. In our case, the Top 4 at the end of the year will qualify for some great prizes!
You score 5 points for winning a match, and 2 points for losing a match.
Bonus Points: You score 3 bonus points for winning both singles matches in one matchplay, and 2 bonus points for winning a match 4-0.
Longer format matches: For 2 set matches, each sets counts as an individual match for points purposes. The 3 bonus points are awarded if you win both sets. The 2 bonus points are awarded for 6-0 and 6-1 sets, and 4-0 sets.
Beating a Top 5 player (from 1st March onwards): You score 5 points for beating 1st place, 4 points beating 2nd place, and so on, down to 1 point for beating 5th place. You ONLY score these points if you were ranked lower in the table on the day of the match.
