Day 129 thoughts: Back to Aussie Open, so great to have a Grand Slam to distract from lockdown! My fav match was Kokkinakis vs Tsitsipas, the home boy back playing great, fearless tennis, but just ran out of steam in the 5th set. Sad for Serena, the outfit itself was worthy of her 24th Slam!
Ticks the 'feel good' vibe for me!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 130 thoughts: How about the Men's Final? Insane that everyone thought Medvedev would win, including me!! Djokovic made it 9 wins from 9 finals, in a disappointingly one-sided match. 3 of the last 4 Slams have been won by the old guard, the GOAT contenders keep going! So talented, so tragic: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown! Day 130 track: Ritchie Valens - Donna
Day 131 thoughts: Justin Sherring, Surrey Performance Manager, and part of doubles runner-up Joe Salisbury's coaching team, asked me to join him for one of Surrey's daily Aus Open podcasts. It was lots of fun, though I sound quite weird, probably because I was dosed up on painkillers at the time! Check it out if you wish!
Elevate us to tennis!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown! Day 131 track: U2 - Elevation (live)
Day 132 thoughts: My suspected kidney stones were confirmed, thankfully very small, and all gone now. All I can say is if that's the pain level for a very small stone, I really don't want to have a bigger one! In fact, general advice for all - don't get kidney stones! Hydration is the best way to avoid them
Deep classic!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 133 thoughts: Last few days, the weather has conjured up great memories from lockdown 1! Californian blue skies, warm days, going on endlessly! Ahhh, if only we could get back to those days. Actually NO! Let's have the same sunshine this April/May when we'll have the small difference of being free! 1 day late for full moon!:
Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 134 thoughts: 2021 not a leap year thankfully! Just think, we'd still be in February!! Did you know that years ending in 00 are NOT leap years either, unless they are divisible by 400? Did you want to know? So 2000 was a leap year, but 2100 won't be! Maybe just worth making a little note now
Mars got me thinking of M/A/R/R/S!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 135 thoughts: Yes, I could try and lift spirits by saying we'll be back playing tennis this month! True, but 27 days to go is the reality! DON'T count the days down, enjoy all the days between now and then, and make them count!
Natural follow-on from yesterday!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 135 track: S'Express - Theme to S'Express
Day 136 thoughts: Got to spare a thought for parents of school kids, almost at the end of a very long home-school/lockdown run, no novelty value this time around either. Respect for getting through it. What did you learn? What will you miss? What will next Monday feel like?
Love this video!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 136 track: Fatboy Slim - Praise You
Day 137 thoughts: Great to see Murray battling away on court this week in Rotterdam, a typical gutsy comeback win in the 1st round 26 76 63 (he was 03 down in 3rd set!). Yesterday, he met his match in Rublev, equally relentless, but more aggressive. Loads of tennis on offer as we work towards a return to the courts!
This song sounds good!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 137 track: Suede - Beautiful Ones
Day 138 thoughts: Worth watching a great little docu from Murray's conqueror, Andrey Rublev. Very personal and open from one of the game's rising stars. He even says how much his coaching team are paid! He also says he was listening to Green Day at age 6! My kinda guy! Watch it here

Day 139 track: Labi Siffri - Something Inside so strong
Day 140 thoughts: It's official, Hawker tennis will resume on 29th March! Checked the courts yesterday, and they're looking great! Amazing feeling just to be out there, and I was literally dreaming last night about being back, though clearly got carried away as the dream version of Hawker had 8 courts!
Big song for a big day!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 140 track: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Day 141 thoughts: Huge day today! Schools back, maybe not to close again! What do the kids think of it? Which side are the parents on? Pure relief, or going to miss not having the kids around? In any case, today feels like a big shift towards normal life. Have a great Monday!

Day 142 thoughts: Incredible Cerundolo brothers from Argentina! Younger brother wins Cordoba Open as a qualifier, ranked 325, winning 8 matches in 9 days! Following week, older brother, ranked 137, makes the final in BA as a qualifier, wins 7 matches in 8 days, 4 times coming from a set down! Awesome tennis story!

Day 143 track: Steve Miller band - Abracadabra
Day 144 thoughts: Driving round Kingston this lockdown is like a boring video game, constantly running into obstacles! Bits of road coned off for no apparent reason, real roadworks, temporary lights seemingly just for the sake of it, and nothing like a 4-way controlled lights. What next, a fake level crossing?
Help getting round Kingston!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 144 track: Beatles - Help
Day 145 thoughts: Heard a good one this morning, for people who always seem to be busy. Make a 'to don't' list, a list of things that you're not going to do anymore! Each one will free up some time! Of course, busy people probably won't have time to check this page!!
Most viewed video on YouTube, not sure what to say!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 145 track: Baby shark dance
Day 146 thoughts: Andy kept that quiet! Fourth child arrived, unknown sex to join 2 girls and a boy. Could it be a second boy, and the chance of a mixed doubles final at Wimbledon, just like the Federer's! Not sure if that idea makes me excited or nauseous! Anyway, big congratulations to Andy and Kim!
One of Andy's favourite songs!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 146 track: Rod Stewart - Maggie May

Check the flares!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 149 track: Three Dog Night - Shambala
Day 150 thoughts: Riddle answer from Monday was ... the river was frozen! Damir Dzumhur didn't manage to tap into the relaxed vibe of Acapulco. Day 151 thoughts: Irritated by 'accept all cookies' pop-up's? Fight back, normally with just one extra click, by finding the 'save preferences' button. These will be auto set to turn off everything not required by law, which means less ads, less data transfer, faster devices, and a small win against 'the system'!
Classic performance!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!
Day 151 track: Nirvana - The man who sold the World
Day 152 thoughts: Scarily few days left before we're allowed to hit yellow balls over a net that's on an enclosed area of concrete with lines painted on it. In the meantime, better continue preparing by hitting yellow balls on an open area of concrete with a makeshift net, and line markers!
On the way to tennis!: Today's music to help keep you relaxed and chilled out during the third edition of lockdown!

Day 154 track: Reef - Place your hands
Day 155 thoughts: What a journey! Lock 1 was novel, strange, sunny, and the diary was about levity and positivity. Lock 2 so short I can't remember it! Lock 3 started with a strong need for positivity, moved to acceptance, and now it's all about the impending restart. Been a funny old year!
